A vellum overlay is a smooth translucent paper used to create a luxurious layered look when paired with fine stationery. Vellum paper has a rich history that goes back to the beginning of the paper itself. 'Vellum' originally referred to a high-quality parchment paper made out of calfskin that had been stretched and treated on a wooden frame. Heat embossed Lovely as a Tree on vellum with white EP. Inside layer is masked with same ground line, then stamped the firs in Perfect Plum. Affixing the Vellum: The inside card liner is just folded and attached with the silver cord. I think if I made more of them, I would punch two holes in the spine of the card and tie the cord through them. Printed Vellum Cardstock Invitation Cards. Vellum has a very polished and professional look for your paper projects. It's heaver than regular text or printer paper but lighter weight than card stock. Vellum adds a very frosted looking to your paper crafts.
