A vellum overlay is a smooth translucent paper used to create a luxurious layered look when paired with fine stationery. Vellum paper has a rich history that goes back to the beginning of the paper itself. 'Vellum' originally referred to a high-quality parchment paper made out of calfskin that had been stretched and treated on a wooden frame. Heat embossed Lovely as a Tree on vellum with white EP. Vellum has a very polished and professional look for your paper projects. It's heaver than regular text or printer paper but lighter weight than card stock. Vellum adds a very frosted looking to your paper crafts.
